   Anytime I travel and depending on where I am I always try to get in a few timelapse videos in from my hotel room balcony overlooking whatever view it is I have. The annoying thing about the process is getting setup. Having to get a tripod ready making sure it is level with the ground on top of making sure it doesn’t topple over is a chore in and of itself.

   So to help overcome that issue I purchased one of those vice like grip holders that I could use to attach to the the balcony gate, rail, or whatever it may be and avoid from having to set up a tripod. Well, for the most part it works…..that is, when you have either a perfectly sized railing (round is the best) that can accommodate the gripper. On my most recent trip I ran into an issue where the railing was square and too large for the gripper to attach to. The combination of the two issues, I then realized, was that the vice grip I had only works in certain situations.

   This particular strap mount works like a charm and can be stretched out far enough that it doesn’t matter what the shape is of what you are putting it on, big or small. I mean, obviously if the object is too large it won’t work but I haven’t ran into that yet and don’t expect too because this will pretty much accommodate the sizes of whatever it is I’ll be putting it onto. Set up is also super fast and super easy. The ease of stretching the rubber on this is not difficult at all. And to top it all off, this whole set up is very small and portable when compared to the vice grip attachment I was using.

   The only minor concern I have, which, I can’t confirm one way or another is that because the rubber is quite pliable and not difficult to stretch, it almost feels like over time it could either break or remain stretched. Only time will tell and the ad states that it doesn’t do that and is very strong so it is only a speculative concern of mine at the moment. I’ll update if that changes but for now I can’t think of any negatives around this product.

   So all in all, fantastic device that will definitely always be in my travel camera kit at all times.

   fra i molti accessori, questo è veramente eccezzionale. anche se può sembrare fragile. dove lo posizioni, puoi stare tranquillo che non si muove. fatto in parte di plastica morbida fa il suo lavoro ed è veramente ottimo.

   I’ve been using my pontoon boat more for recording my fishing videos and needed something to attach a camera to my pontoon railing for different angles. This is actually a pretty smart idea to attach GoPros to just about any shape of railing, handle or smaller tree limb. I have it attached to a diagonal railing and I’m still able to record because of the flexibility of the material.
   The strap is a very flexible silicone material that easily stretches around the square tubing and secures to a button of the same material. It just slips over the button and latches easily. With it being made of silicone, it doesn’t slip at all even on a round surface. The area where the GoPro attaches is the typical plastic tabs with the thumb screw and it’s as sturdy as any other GoPro mount. Once attached the camera doesn’t move unless I move it. I was able to drive my boat through wakes with no worries of my GoPro falling off in to the water. Another nice feature of this mount is that it takes up almost no room so it can be stored just about anywhere. Very happy with this mount!

   Unterwegs Mal schnell eine Bildeinstellung machen, ohne extra erst ein Stativ aufzustellen, dafür ist diese Camp-Befestigung bestens geeignet. Ein Ast am Baum reicht schon aus.
